A beautiful Tonga basket featuring the classic "snake’s belly" edging pattern, handwoven by the Tonga people of Zimbabwe. Starting from a woven square and ending in an almost perfect round, these baskets were traditionally used for winnowing grain and are now rare due to the decreasing number of artisans. Each basket is handmade and may vary slightly in size and design.
