Stall Three Studio is a flexible, collection-based art platform founded in 2023 by artist and accounting professional Sterling Crawford. Based in Greenville, South Carolina, the studio operates as an online gallery and produces traveling exhibitions and events with the mission to leverage the contemporary arts to raise awareness and cultural understanding.
As the world—and the art world—continues to shift, Stall Three Studio moves beyond the traditional gallery model. We’ve embraced a more fluid, project-driven approach with no permanent public space or fixed artist roster. Instead, each release is a special project: a focused exploration of history, culture, and human connection told through the lens of carefully selected international mid-career and established artists.
Through time-based collections, pop-up exhibitions, and collaborative programming, Stall Three Studio fosters cultural exchange, storytelling, and meaningful engagement with art—locally, nationally, and internationally.
Sterling Crawford is the founder and a contributing artist of Stall Three Studio, based in Greenville, South Carolina.
A graduate of the College of Charleston with a degree in Finance (2019), Sterling has spent five years in accounting, while also growing her business as a professional artist. In 2023, she founded Stall Three Studio as a gallery to curate collections of contemporary fine art that are unique, timeless, and reflective of a thoughtful narrative. She values working closely with collectors to help them find pieces that resonate deeply and fulfill their collecting goals, and working with artists to help share their meanings.
Her artistic philosophy is driven by a belief in art’s ability to connect people across different backgrounds. Through her work, Sterling invites audiences to appreciate not only the beauty of art but also its power to bridge worlds and perspectives.
